Biscuits From Carrots & Dates
We all know that carrots are an excellent source of fibers, like pectin. They contain less then 10% carbs, so it won’t ruin your daily diet and helps decrease weight. It has the important K1 vitamin which aids blood coagulation. Carrots help sharpen your vision too!
The Recipe
Delicious quick snack biscuits from carrots and dates. The whole process is less then 30 minutes. By boiling the carrots in a short time frame, you get to keep all the nutrients it possess. The raw peeled dates are a great boost for the heart and acts as a energy booster. Dates are able to reduce LDL cholesterol (a cardiovascular disease risk component). It’s also suitable for the youngest in the family. Try it out.
Biscuits From Carrots & Dates
Delicious biscuits from carrots and dates. A quick low-budget snack for all times of the day.
Ingredients
- 3 carrots medium sized
- 1 tbsp butter
- 3 dates
- 2 glasses flour depending on the size of carrots/portion
Instructions

Wash and peal the carrots. Grate them, and boil for 15 minutes with as little water as possible. After finishing boiling them, drain the water out of them.

Peal the dates.

Mix the carrots with the dates, butter. Add flour as needed, until you reach a soft dough. I needed almost 2 glasses(size of 250ml) of flour.

Shape them in small rounded forms.

Bake at 180c for 10-13 minutes.
