Biscuits From Carrots & Dates

Delicious biscuits from carrots and dates. A quick low-budget snack for all times of the day.

  • 3 carrots medium sized
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 dates
  • 2 glasses flour depending on the size of carrots/portion


  1. Wash and peal the carrots. Grate them, and boil for 15 minutes with as little water as possible. After finishing boiling them, drain the water out of them.

  2. Peal the dates.

  3. Mix the carrots with the dates, butter. Add flour as needed, until you reach a soft dough. I needed almost 2 glasses(size of 250ml) of flour.

  4. Shape them in small rounded forms.

  5. Bake at 180c for 10-13 minutes.
