Healthy Pancakes from Red Lentil Flour

  • 1 cup red lentil
  • 1 cup white flour regular
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • pinch of salt
  • turmeric spice optional
  • water as needed


  1. Roast the red lentil for a few minutes, lightly.
  2. Blend the red lentil, to get a flour-alike result.

  3. Mix it with the other ingredients together in a bowl and add water as needed until it's smooth. (smoothie alike result).

  4. Add the salt and spice it with turmeric spice.

  5. Pour pancake shapes onto a hot griddle.

  6. Fry them like regular pancakes.
